What a treat it was to meet this awesome couple! When they first contacted me and wanted to arrange for a maternity shoot to be done downtown Chicago, I'm not gonna lie, I felt a little nervous. While I have lived in a suburb north of the city for most of my life, I really dont travel down there all that often. I am SUCH a suburbanite! Everything just seems so fast paced and when I don't know where I am going, let's just say I freak out a bit! So, to avoid any unecessary anxiety, I arranged to get downtown about an hour and half before our shoot. I parked my car by the Lincoln Park Zoo and walked over to North Avenue Beach and it was amazing! The whole time I walked over to the beach, I took pictures on my phone and sent them to my husband, bragging about the location of my "office" for the day. Our city is truly spectacular! While I waited for these two to show up, I hung out with all the geese on the shoreline and people watched and had such a relaxing afternoon--- quite the opposite of what I had anticipated. When my clients showed up, we got started right away and shot all the way up until the sun ducked down beyond the skyscrapers. I think you can see from their images, they are so in love and just beyond excited to meet their little girl. There is so much love waiting for you, Baby T! I can't wait to meet you! :-)
