Newborn Baby Girl- Prospect Heights Newborn Lifestyle Photographer

Oh what can I say about this shoot? I guess I can say it was one of my favorite shoots, that's for sure.  Lifestyle is my preferred style of shoot, but I don't get to do it all that often.  So many families are drawn to the beautifully posed babies in baskets, which I love too, don't get me wrong, but it's the "real" moments I love to capture best.  Maybe since a photo shoot is a big investment, parents think the images should be out of the ordinary, but there is something so awesome about finding beauty IN the ordinary..... like a mother on the couch snuggling her oldest and helping him hold his new baby sister, or a baby laying loosly swaddled on the bed, or a big sister inspecting her new baby sister... These are all real, beautiful moments which happen every day for families who bring home a new baby, but often they go unnoticed. These are the moments I love to capture for them, because this new time is so fleeting.  

Anyway, this was the first time I have shot for this sweet family and I was so honored that they called on me to shoot their new daughter's very first pictures.  Take a look- I love them all!
