The H. Family- Lake Forest Family Photographer

In saying this, I fear I may come off as really, really freaky, but whatever, I'm going for it! I left this shoot on a high, with what I would call a "family crush"! Yep, I said it, FAMILY CRUSH-- and like, to the max! This family actually won an auction donation of mine and I am so thankful that they did. We hit it off right away, and I couldn't be more thankful that these 4 great people walked into my life. Our shoot was so comfortable and chill and the so full of love and smile and genuine laughs. These two boys, wow, they are awesome and so loving towards one another.
Mom actually scouted out a few spots that she wanted to use for our shoot and she really opened my eyes and helped me look at what was a common shoot location of mine, in a completely different way. We used the outskirts of the park and I loved that she didn't mind the walk to do so! There images turned out beautifully, with the sun low and the golden light breaking through the trees.
The shot below of Mom & Dad was actually taken by their youngest. He wanted a turn with my camera and I was happy to make that happen for him. Such a cool thing to see how a little guy views the world. I would have taken this shot at practically Mom & Dad's eye level, but I love the angle that he got shooting up to them, as he sees them everyday.
Before it got too dark, we ended the shoot with some shots out by a lily pond that Mom had found on a bike ride. Again, while I shoot at this particular location all the time, I had never seen this little pond before and wow, what a treasure she found for us! I love the reflection as the sun set behind the trees. We used this little spot for some sweet shots of just mom and her first born son. What a connection they have! I love these.
