This handsome fellow was a Baby Planner, so to see him turn one year old was bittersweet. I will miss seeing his darling face every three months!
Sometimes, when the weather is less than ideal for a shoot it takes a little exta work to make the little ones smile. It's amazing what some parents think to bring to photo shoots (other than the typical sweet treat) to make their minis happy. I have one family who knew exactly what it took to make their baby smile and laugh--- clanging two wine glasses together! So, imagine me, during the shoot on the ground trying to clang wine glasses together while at the same time trying to get the shot of the happy family! I'm am sure that looked silly to any passers by! In this little guy's case, just holding up the TV remote was all it took to get him to smile and given the fact that this shoot was shot in my own backyard, I am wasn't too concerned what anyone would see.... So remotes were waving and that's all Mr. O needed to perk up during our chilly, spring shoot..... that and kisses and tickles from his Mommy and Daddy, of course!
