Sometimes when I arrive to a home for a lifestyle session, parents apologize for baby not being "ready". I tell them there is no need to apologize-- baby is absolutely ready-- baby is being baby and that is what I am there to capture! Most often, it is actually the documentary shots that I love the most out of a lifestyle session--- those that are completely without any direction from me-- shots of just parents and kiddos doing their thing. I also especially love seeing daddies doing the care taking and getting to know their new baby.
My oldest son actually played baseball with these twin big brothers, so it was nice to reconnect with the family. And baby-- he shares the same name as my youngest!
