Changes coming to SKP in 2014!

 When the holidays roll around each year, I find myself reflecting fondly on the year that is coming to an end while at the same time eagerly anticipating the year that is ahead.  It probably comes as no surprise that designing my family's holiday card each year finds me pouring over the precious moments and memories that have been captured in images.  I marvel at how little my boys were and how much they've grown; simultaneously missing them and looking forward to meeting the young men they will one day be.

 This year, I find myself reflecting on the growth and change of another 'baby' of mine - Stephanie Kelley Photography.  What started as an outlet for my creativity and passion for photography has blossomed into a full-fledged business, thanks to amazing client referrals.  I often find myself meeting and spending times with the family and friends of many of my original clients - it's so special to have that instant connection with people I work with!  I am so very grateful to you for trusting me not only with your own family, but also with other treasured people in your lives - it is such an honor.

So this year has been one of amazing growth for me as a professional - but as is often the case, with growth comes change! Here's what's new in 2014:

• The fee for each session will be $125.  This fee includes up to five subjects; additional subjects may be added to the session at a rate of $25 per addition.
• Sessions located within 25 miles of Crystal Lake include no additional charge; locations outside that area will be subject to a $25 travel fee.
• Once a session date is agreed upon, a $50 deposit and signed contract and model release will be due within seven days to secure it.  Sessions that are not secured by deposit within seven days will be released to other clients.
• Most newborn shoots will now be done in-studio to ensure access to the vast collection of props and material housed there.  A limited number of lifestyle newborn sessions will be made available - feel free to contact me for more information.
• Your session will receive one very special sneak peek on the Stephanie Kelley Photography Facebook Page - several shoots will be featured each month on the SKP blog!
• Images from your new sessions will be available for purchase in one of four new core (but also customizable) collections; three of the four collections will now offer a selection of digital images as part of the collection!
• Digital images will now also be offered individually and in sets of 4 and 10.  Purchasing digital images is the perfect way to create a birth announcement or holiday card, or even print multiple copies of on your own to gift to friends and family.
• All past discount codes have been discontinued - however, watch the Facebook page and blog for future image sales and promotions!
• In the past couple of years, I have had to turn away clients (both new and familiar).  In order to try and accommodate as many clients as possible while still offering the same level of service, I am expanding my session schedule to include an additional day of sessions each week.
• Finally, I am excited to expand my services by offering a number of themed mini-sessions throughout the year!
