Right up along side my love for newborn babies is my love for puppies! Their soft fur, wet noses, giant paws, rolls of loose skin and sweet puppy breath just melt me. Yep, I said SWEET. PUPPY. BREATH. I might be the only person I know who tries to cram their nose in a yawning puppy's mouth just to catch a whiff of that puppy breath, but I'm cool with that! Somehow my love for these animals has gotten me in deep, as for the past 8 years I have shared my own home with not one, but FOUR fur babies.
So when my friends told me they were flying to Florida to pick up their new Greater Swiss Mountain Dog pup, I knew I needed to get my hands on him, and fast! Fast, because I have seen my friends raise two other GSM dogs and I know that the breed goes from a silly little thing to a clumsy, huge teddy bear of a dog, in just a matter of a couple months, and I wanted to be able to capture this pup's newness. A week after they brought him home, I had their sweet boy in my studio for his first of i am sure many, photo shoots. Sweet thing was so sleepy, he made my job easy!
